PT093 Peel Strength Tester - Passport Cover Peel Resistance Test Machine
The PT093 Peel Strength Tester is a standalone instrument designed to evaluate the peel resistance of Machine Readable Passport (MRP) cover materials and laminated layers. The test procedure first uses a supplied scratch tool to cut the passport sample, and then applies a controlled peeling force to measure the strength required to separate the cover layers.
Weak lamination or poor adhesive bonding can lead to cover delamination, data-page damage, and rejection during quality inspection or in-service use. The PT093 provides passport manufacturers and personalization bureaus with a reliable method to verify peel strength compliance.
Optional data-reporting software provides graphical test curves and data export for compliance documentation (PC not included).
|
1. Scratch Tool Sample Preparation
A matching scratch tool is included to precisely cut MRP samples before peel testing, ensuring repeatable specimen geometry. |
2. Cover Peel Resistance Test
Measures the force required to peel passport cover layers, verifying adhesive strength and laminate bonding quality. |
|
3. Optional Graphical Software
Software add-on displays test-session curves and exports data for reporting and SPC integration. |
4. Compact Benchtop Design
Footprint of 410 × 290 × 550 mm and 20 kg net weight fit easily on standard laboratory benches. |
