Once cards are personalized and verified, they still have to survive the trip to the issuer or end customer. Automated packing and mailing systems take loose or stacked cards from the personalization line and turn them into banded bricks, cartons, or mail-ready envelopes — consistently, and without the labor cost of hand packing.
Manual packing is slow and erratic: counts drift, bands loosen, and mixed-SKU orders get crossed. An automated packer counts, collates, bands or cartons, and optionally inserts an instruction leaflet or SIM, then routes the sealed pack to a weigh-and-label station. The result is uniform packs that protect the cards and scan cleanly through logistics.
An automated card banding and cartoning cell preparing personalized card packs for shipment.
Friction or vacuum feeders count exact stacks (e.g. 5 / 10 / 25) and collate multis-KU orders without miscounts.
Servo banders apply tensioned paper or film bands; cartoners erect, load, and close cartons for bulk shipment.
For export, inline shrink tunnels seal moisture-resistant packs that protect chips during long transit.
Each pack is weighed against expected mass and print-applied with a logistics label and order QR.
